Samma Blue

Keyboard/Piano Instructor

Samma Blue got her first taste of the spotlight at just 4 years old. Her mother, also a musician and singer, would regularly bring Samma on stage to sing with the band at gigs. Shortly thereafter she began studying piano, which she continued through adulthood. Samma then began teaching piano lessons to younger kids when she was just 13 years old.

In lessons Samma does a great job mixing classical with contemporary styles. Her goal with students is to create a solid foundation based in classical techniques and apply them to popular music. She also encourages her students to apply their creativity, and enjoys teaching them to write their own music as well.

In addition to her teaching gig at Michigan Rock School, Samma also performs with her band, Suddenly It’s Autumn. She is currently recording music for a CD expected to be released in 2019.
